The emergency exits in our faculty building are designed for use only in emergencies (fire, earthquake, evacuation, etc.). However, using these doors for daily entry and exit, going outside to smoke, or short-term wanderings has been found to cause various problems with building security, emergency evacuation systems, and the technical operation of the doors. Therefore, we strongly advise against using emergency exits for purposes other than their intended purpose, to keep the doors open, accessible, and unobstructed at all times, and to encourage students to use the "Main Student Entrance to the Building."
