As part of the "Disaster Ready District" training camp, which took place on November 26, 2024, in seven districts of Tunceli province, awareness-raising activities were carried out in all public institutions and organizations, schools, neighborhoods, streets, and avenues in the districts for tradesmen and citizens on the importance of the first 72 hours, the correct course of action in a disaster, familiarization with district assembly and temporary shelter areas, promotion of disaster preparedness in our province, integration of civil defense services stipulated in Law No. 7126 into assembly areas, examination of the current preparedness levels of districts and their corrections, and completion of disaster response plans with members of Tunceli AFAD, Police Search and Rescue, JAK, UMKE, Munzur Nature Sports and Search and Rescue Association, MEB AKUB, and students of Munzur University's Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Emergency Aid and Disaster Management.
