Students from Munzur University's Emergency Aid and Disaster Management (AYAY) Department visited the Tunceli Fire Department on Thursday, May 15th, to participate in hands-on firefighting training as part of their Firefighting and Fire Intervention Techniques course. During the training, firefighting personnel briefed the students on types of fires, extinguishing techniques, personal protective equipment, and safety rules to be observed during a fire. During the hands-on portion of the training, the students practiced practical exercises such as using fire extinguishers and responding with hoses. The activity helped students develop their basic knowledge and skills in firefighting while also boosting their professional motivation. We thank the Tunceli Fire Department for their significant support in contributing to the professional development of our students.
