ABOUT US
The Midwifery Department, established in 2010 within the Faculty of Health Sciences, admitted its first students in the 2019-2020 academic year.
Our department accepts students based on numerical scores from the TYT and AYT exams administered by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). The program duration is four years, and there are no preparatory classes.
Our department graduated its first students in the 2022-2023 academic year. Our department has one professor, two associate professors, one assistant professor, two lecturers, and one research assistant.

To be a leading educational institution recognized nationally and internationally for its well-equipped graduates in the field of midwifery, its scientific activities, and its efforts to protect the health of society and improve its quality of life.
Our Vision
To train midwives who will provide high-quality services to protect and improve the health of women and children in society, embody universal and cultural values, and focus on lifelong learning. Thus, we contribute to the development of midwifery science and demonstrate a high level of effectiveness in protecting and improving the health of women and children.
